A beautiful 1960s dress and jacket set, glammed up by metallic thread and gold tone buttons. The wiggle dress features a sleeveless striped bodice in autumnal and gold tones with a gold sequin and brown braid with metallic threaded waistband and a statement roll over collar that peaks above the plain cut jacket neckline. The skirt is a woven cream linen or cotton with thin stripes of gold thread that catch the light when you move. A centre back metal zip does up from below the waistline making the dress easy to slip on. The cropped boxy shape jacket has a full row of metal swirl buttons (although the bottom one is missing) in centre front and elbow length sleeves trimmed in stripe fabric that matches the underdress.
The dress and jacket are both lined in a cream silky fabric. Weights have been sewn into the bottom side seams of the jacket to help it keep its form. This matching pair have all the classy detailing of the 50s with the fun fabrics and boxy shapes of the 60s and will help you pull together your Mad Men look.
