A classic mid-century stay in bed and lounge set with a floaty nightgown and matching peignoir robe. The nightgown is made from pastel blue nylon with a thicker lining and a sheer floaty top layer which is trimmed with a wide white floral lace with metallic silver accents which also runs up the left thigh and trims the yoke. The lining is trimmed in a narrow white lace. Both fabrics are gathered up into the neckline and free flow to the knees. The neckline consists of a wide boat shaped yoke with matching white floral lace and is contained in a narrow white bias binding.
The same floral lace trims the shoulders, hem and lapels of the matching robe which is made from two layers of the sheer nylon. The robe has the cutest short puff sleeves and closes simply with two buttons at the neckline. The nylon overall has a slight one way stretch and is quite warm so best for cooler mornings or autumn nights or just swanning about at home.
