The high top, backless house slippers of your boudoir dreams, dressed up with frogs and royal blue satin. The same style was advertised “Majorette” with a back around the heel in 1948, also available in “poppy red, heaven blue, blossom pink, wine, white and black satin”. Woven fabric inner sole with a shiny black leather sole and wooden heel. A sturdy block heel and cute peep toe.

Daniel Green brothers opened in 1881 and specialised in luxurious but affordable slippers to be worn in the boudoir, while hostessing and even out of the house.

Condition: Fair. Missing a metal cap off the heel. Inner sole fabric is worn at the back of the heel. Fading on the frogs, heel sole and heel sides. Wear to leather sole of foot. Four small dark stains to right and left satin sides.
