A new ‘old store stock’ vintage cotton blouse from 1950s America. This adorable lilac cotton blouse has never been worn and features a pretty rounded collar with spidery lace trim and short puff sleeves with matching lace trim on the turned back cuffs. The fabric is a lightweight, tightly woven cotton that irons up crisply but still feels soft. Its body is shaped with two tucks at the waist, front and back. The front fully opens with three buttons, two of which are in the centre of a row of three decorative buttons, and the bottom one is a hard to see clear plastic button. This front lapel is highly decorative with sweet rows of pin tucks bordered by lace on each side. The nipped waist make this piece ideal for tucking into a retro circle skirt or pairing with streamlined cigarette pants. Add a vintage car and a milkshake and you’ve got the ultimate retro Americana look.
