The perfect 1950s pairing- a summer gingham day dress with matching super soft cardigan to keep your shoulders warm come evening. The dress is simple, sleeveless with a nipped in waist and full knee length circle skirt in a small black and white patterned cotton. It is unlined for comfort on a warm summer day and can be layered up with petticoats for some swing dancing. This fabric is repeated on the collar and lapels of the cream cardigan, as is the super cute scalloped trim in the same fabric which finishes off the cardigan lapels and the sleeves and scoop neck of the dress. The original metal side zipper remains. There is a generous hem which could be lengthened. Note that our model is a size S so the dress is too big for her.
