Late 19th century, super soft, velvet jacket. The collar is a double layer of handmade lace, one layer frills up and the other more intricate layer drapes down over the bodice. The cuffs feature same two differing kinds of lace. The sleeves are 3/4 length and have smocked detailing. Hook and eye closures up centre front and faux clear plastic buttons. Tailored seams accentuate the waistline. Weights have also been ingeniously sewn into the hem to stop you from blowing away. The interior is lined with buttery biscuit silk. If this was a niche it is gothic-cottage-core!
