A stunning piece of Italian history, this Lisa Spagnoli shift still speaks the sophistication and creativity the brand has been known for since 1928. They are still a stylish clothing boutique in Perugia, Italy, today. Elegant in form with a high neckline, front darts, and simple apron front, accessed by original zipper up the back. Easy breezy linen in light lavender keeps you cool and calm while the tight weave and impeccable tailoring will make you look smart whether sipping coffee in Rome, exploring hot summer markets or braving the board room. Front bodice is lined. See the label photo for the best colour match- a pale pink toned lilac/lavender.
This dress once belonged to fashionista and intrepid traveller, the late Stella Veitch. Stella was known for her taste for well made, fashionable clothing and her independence as a single woman travelling the globe during a time when it was uncommon for women to do so. We love this dress and the story it tells, imagining it neatly folded in a suitcase journeying through 1960s Africa and the Middle East.
