An ethereal off-white lace chemisette from the turn of the nineteenth century to add detail and romance to your outfit. Hand-made from sheer net with the most beautiful floral lace across the front and back panels. Details include a short stand up lace collar and pin tucks from the shoulders. The back is cropped in length and the piece is light and airy making this the perfect crop for a hot day or a lightweight layering piece. Two metal poppers close the back neck. The chemisette traditionally was worn throughout the 1800s and early 1900s over the corset and corset cover, but below the jacket or blouse for both modesty and detail.
Note that the chemisette has been pegged in the photographs of the mannequin and is slightly looser around the waist, and the neck poppers were undone on our model.
