The 1940s silhouette is made by shirred shoulders which meet pleats at the waist and give fullness to the bodice, a sleek waistline and micropleats on the skirt. There are no closures, dress just slips overhead and the waist is emphasized by beautiful lacey gold tone buckles on the self-fabric belt which match the smaller two at neck. The rayon is unlined, of medium weight and the weave is slightly stretchy making it comfortable to wear all day and into the night. We recommend wearing an undershirt or armpit supports to reduce washing the crepe.
