A stylish hostess dress in silky bronze rayon with cream polka dots and bold cream buttons up the mid-front. Subtle dolman sleeves and full bust create a dramatic shape with the fitted waist and pleats on the outsides of the hips. Featuring ¾ length sleeves, ‘v’ neckline with point collar the silhouette is completely vintage and not often seen in modern clothing. The skirt is lined in a contrasting orange polyester satin. Handsewn ribbon hem. Short slit at back hem for ease of walking. All of the buttons are decorative not functional and access is via a zip at centre back. Made by R & K Originals, a popular mid-range American brand who operated from the 1930s until they were bought by label Jonathan Logan in the 1960s.
